Wild Card 3

Intro- These were two poems that go hand in hand with each other that I did for english class. They are based on two similar style William Blake poems that are also labeled "song of innocence" and "song of expreience". We were supposed to write about a topic with a naive and immature look and then an experienced and pessimistic look.
Song of innocence
Disneyland is magical
It’s quite astronomical
Located in southern California
Where having fun is the Criteria

You can visit Toon Town
And hang with mascots til sundown
Or you can visit Mickey’s castle
And go see his famous mantle

But If you crave music
See a show and enjoy its acoustics
There are always parades at day
And fireworks like its your birthday

Most importantly the rides are fun
Yet all of them can’t be done
Which is why you keep coming back
Until you are addicted like it is crack

Song of Experience
Disneyland is overrated
It’s where childhood memories get assassinated
The park is in southern California
Where if you forget sunscreen the sun will burn ya

Good luck trying to find parking
Because it will take until it starts darkening
Once you do find a spot
You will have to walk 5-10 miles across the whole lot

Then you will see the ticket price
And tell yourself “ 87 ****** dollars just to see some famous mice”
It doesn’t stop there
Because all food is 15 plus dollars everywhere

All that matters though is how the rides are
Except the long lines make it feel like you’re in tar
Oh and I hope you brought Advil
Because that song will loop over until you die and meet the devil
